Windows 10: KB3122947 1511 update - anybody else get this?

Discus and support KB3122947 1511 update - anybody else get this? in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; Most everyone should already have KB3122947 already installed.     KB3122947 1511 update - anybody else get this?


    My Update History seems to purge itself of all entries every 48 hours. Microsoft is steadily tarnishing its own image for some reason. How can a company become so un-friendly to users after more than two decades of doing such a good job of taking care of us?

    Look in control panel -> programs and features -> View installed updates

    Strangely,
    It Installed perfectly on my Notebook and on Desktop it didn't.
    DISM worked perfectly.Thanks for the CAB Installer.
    Somebody on MS Answers forums said they would fix it on Monday Later in the day.

    KB3122947 1511 update - anybody else get this?

    This is the first time an update has failed for me
    I got same message on all my systems
    So will wait for Microsoft to supply a fix.
    Looked it up and several users are getting same error

    Received the update this morning and installed fine with no errors. Did not need a reboot.

    I used to have Windows Update errors, but then I did this back in October and have not had update errors since on three machines.

    Repaired Windows Update by running gpedit.msc computer configuration/administrative templates/system/specify settings for optimal component installation and component repair. Checked enabled box and Contact Windows Updates directly box. (See image below).

    Also ran (Admin)CMD Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and (Admin)CMD sfc /scannow

    Following this, Windows Updates have installed correctly. I hope that helps someone.
