Windows 10: KB4338548 installed 500+ times for no reason.

The customer care guy told me that he had seen anything like that before and put me indefinitely on hold. I am considering returning this laptop to amazon but they are giving ridiculous excuses. Please help I cant install windows 10pro from 10 s on my laptop due to this. This is a surface laptop 1 model 1769

I tried factory resetting it (twice) but it stayed the same.

I don't have the patience to uninstall it 573 times and I don't know whether it will simply reinstall them again.



I am a student and don't have 3 hours to waste every day on hold. I hope someone experienced from Microsoft responds to this.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
