Windows 10: KB4338819 stuck initializing

Hi all

Having trouble with update KB4338819 x64 version as it will not finish installing and sticks on intializing.

I've tried the following:
Troubleshooter
Deleting the files in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
Running Services and stopping Windows Update & setting delivery optimisation to manual, restarting & running update
The above but with my AV off

All to no avail, any help would be very much appreciated.

Odd KB4338819 issue

Hello, I tried to install the update KB4338819, but on the first time, it was stuck on 68% installation, so I physically reset PC, made a chkdsk, retried the update, and all went fine.

But now, in the update chronology it's showed as (KB4338819) (2).

Why there is the number 2? This is the first time I have this issue...if it is an issue.

It didn't solve the issue.

our component work fine for many years. but this time it don't work after we install KB4338819 and its fixed updates KB4345421.

It may something wrong in you KB4338819 and KB4345421

 

is it possible to hand build a motherboard?

Might I suggest you simply build a computer, making notes and taking pictures step by step. Most people (probably including your teacher) have no idea even where to start building a computer. You'll do fine, and if you get stuck we're here to help ya out! *Toast :toast:
