    Hello,

I have L340-15IRH Gaming Laptop with Windows 10 Home. Unfortunately every time KB4560960 is installed, I've got the kernel-power error41 after normal shut-down of the system.

This problem causes that laptop starts up very long time. Of course, if I switch off thequick startup the kernel-error disappears.

But that causes, after a week, that startup is extended nearly to 86 s laptop is two months old.

When I remove the KB4560960, the error 41 and slow startup disappears.

Whatcan I do to have a normal fast start-up and no kernel-power error 41 and KB4560960 installed?

Otherwise, I have to pause Windows-Update and I did not get other security updates.

Problem appears only with KB4560960 the problem has occurred three times so far, every time I had to uninstall that cumulative update.

    :)

  2. Kernel-Power event id 41. BugcheckCode 0

    Hello,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In-order to get more clarity on this issue and to assist you with appropriate troubleshooting steps, reply with answers to the below questions:

    1. Are you aware of any changes made on your PC, prior to this issue?
    2. Is this issue specific while playing a particular game?
    3. Which edition of Windows are you currently using?

A Kernel Power Event 41 can occur in the following scenarios.

Scenario 1: The computer restarts, and there is a Stop error BugcheckCode in the event data.

Scenario 2: The computer is shut down by pressing and holding the power button.

Scenario 3: The system randomly restarts and no Stop error BugcheckCode is listed, or the computer is completely unresponsive (hard hang).

I suggest you refer the article on Kernel
    Power Event ID 41
and follow the steps for the scenario that is causing this error on your PC.

Additionally, you can refer the article on Windows
Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows

    and check if that helps.

    Kernel Power error 41

Just posted on another thread dealing with kernel power 41 error. I had this issue when I first upgraded from windows 8.1 to windows 10. My system would just restart itself every time after starting up my computer each day after work. For me it would happen roughly 10 mins in from startup.

A little research showed that it was caused by having fast startup enabled under power options. Once I disable this I haven't had this issue popup since.

I'm not saying it can't be hardware related, but under 8.1/10 it's such an easy option to disable and check it's worth the small amount of time it takes to test it.
