  1. KB4592438 incompatible with XBase++ BAP.DLL

    With the release of this months update for Windows 10, Windows Server 2004 & Windows Server 20H2 we've been encountering an issue with software that uses the legacy XBase++ from Alaska-Software.

    We're only experiencing the error on Windows 10 devices:

    KB4592438 incompatible with XBase++ BAP.DLL 6c675545-50ae-4258-8457-5b7b02bca18f?upload=true.jpg

    We don't operate any Server 2004 or Server 20H2 instances - though we've tested with Server 2019 and not experienced any problems with it.

    An uninstall of the update gets us past the issue. However we need to resolve the blocker so that updates can continue to be processed as per normal.

    Any suggestions to assist with diagnostics would be welcomed.

    :)

  2. BAP Precision S Series Bluetooth not connecting

    I have the BAP Bluetooth S Series and it will add a Bluetooth device but it cannot connect to thus device. I have tried the Bluetooth device on other phones and it does work. I enter in the Bluetooth device in the BAP Bluetooth area and when doing such
    it says it was successfully connected until I get out of the last screen then it has the Bluetooth device under not connected. The COM ports and the mode are correct. And the password for the Bluetooth device are extremely simple so they cannot be wrong. Does
    anyone know how to fix this? Or is something wrong with the BAP?

  3. DLL Missing

    The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
    There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

    DLL Missing

    I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

    Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.

    If the link still needs to be removed, then let me know
