Windows 10: KB5000808 - Error 0x800f080a

There were problems installing Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based systems KB5000808 - Error 0x800f080a. I was able to successfully load other updates except KB5000808 - Error 0x800f080a.


Please provide solution.

2020-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4577671) - Error 0x800f080a

Hi, Kindly help me with the error I am getting while installing specific update - 2020-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903 for x64-based Systems (KB4577671). It is downloaded but while installing; it installs for 25% and then give the error
- Error 0x800f080a. Please suggest. Thanks!

 

KB4592438 Error 0x800f080a

Once again WU giving me issues. I did an in place upgrade to 20H2 last month.

Figured I'd see where this months updates were and I can see its trying to install KB4592438 through WU at least since yesterday. It has been at 75%, stayed that way overnight. Its messing up the whole computer, everything slow or non functional.

What do I do?

Update: What I did was restart the computer. I can see the KB failed with Error 0x800f080a.

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.
