Windows 10: KB5001567 has NOT fixed my printer issue

Hello,


I installed KB5000802 when it came out and it broke my print mechanism - only top and bottom bands of image would print. I removed the update and was able to print successfully again. Today I once more loaded KB5000802 and then the printer fix update called KB50001567 and now I am back in bad position of only being able to print top and bottom bands of my image.


It is essential that I print for my business so clearly I need to remove KB5000802 again. How can I get the essential elements of that update without breaking my print facility?


I use a Dell Inspiron laptop running Win 10 Home 20H2 OS build 19042.868. My printer is an Epson R2880.


Please advise best course of action.

• Is it a wired or wireless printer?
• Is the printer connected via network to your computer?

I suggest you to make printer as a default printer you can follow the below steps:

• Press Windows key+ X and select
  device manager.
• Select devices and printers
• Right click on the printer you want to use, and then click
  set as default printer (You'll see a check mark on the printer's icon signifying that it's now your default printer).

I suggest you to update the drivers for the printers and check if it helps.

I also recommend you to run the print troubleshooter to check the issue.
