Windows 10: KB5001567 issue rendering TFF images to print

KB5001567 has resolved the blue screen errors on all of our client machines that we have deployed it on in response to KB5000802 and KB5000808 BSOD on Kyocera and other printer issue. However, we have a law firm that pulls TIFF images in relation to property title deeds from a certain county records and when they attempt to print the TIFF images from Microsoft Photos app it only renders a small portion of the image in print preview and will not print the image correctly. We tried a workaround of saving/printing the TIFF image to a PDF using CutePDF but the resulting PDF is also missing most of the image.

If we uninstall KB5001567 printing TIFFs returns to normal behavior. We don't have any data collected on this issue but we can stage a virtual environment and see if we can duplicate the issue in our testing environment.


This month seems to be the month of update fubars from hell. We also have an issue with QuickBooks related to an update to our managed security software that we are also investigating. Not a Microsoft related issue though.

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

 

Microsoft Print to PDF mixes up JPGs.

To understand the issue better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• What happens when you select small bunch of images and try to print?
• Is the issue specific to the Microsoft Print to PDF?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you.

• Create a new folder and copy the images you want in PDF.
• Sort the images as you want. (It always copies as per the sorted time/date)
• Set the images in Order/Sequence as you want it to be set in PDF.
• Select all and Print it to PDF.
