    KB5004237 fails with 0x80070308


    Hi,today I got the notification to restart to finish the update as usual. After restarting and checking the updates in settings this error was displayed. What I tried so far is:- restarting the update it downloads, installs until 100% then shows the error- sfc /scannow --> no problems found- restarting the pc- deleting everything in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\The updates KB5003537, KB890830 and security intelligence of the defender were successful today.Should I just wait and try again later or does this point to a larger issue?

    Windows 10 fails to update


    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

    KB4025339 Fails Install 0x80070564

    I am trying Eagle 51's suggestions now. Windows Update troubleshooter found a bunch of errors and fixed all but one.The update is trying to download KB4025339 again. I'll see what happens. At step one troubleshooter finishes with one error unresolved "Potential Windows Update Database Error Detected-Not Fixed". Windows update stalled at 0%.

    At step 2 same troubleshooter error. The KB finished a new download failed to install.
    Did step 3 KB has downloaded but fails to install.

    If Eagle's suggestion doesn't work I'll try EdTittel's suggestion

    Tried bothe Eagle & Ed 's suggestions - do not work. Anyone else?

    I have noticed that the latest update for my nvidia drivers has failed to update. Wondering about that!

    KB5004237 fails with 0x80070308

    KB5004237 will not install!

    Three out of my four computers have installed KB5004237 without any problems - the remaining one stalls at 20%, and throws up error 0x800f081f.
    I have run sfc + dism + the update trouble-shooter to no avail.
    It would seem that I am missing certain data/ previous update from what I can gather. Is this a known problem? and is there a starting point for me to try.
    Windows update suggests that I am up to date.
    Any help appreciated - thanks.
