Windows 10: KB5004237 & Previous KB5004945 Breaks Windows Search

Hi, hoping someone can help,I have narrowed it down to firstly the update KB5004945 that broke windows search across my whole machine, The search panel in Windows Explorer when you try to type, doesn't accept input, eventually the whole area becomes a brown/grey bar, no programs can search when opening files, Cordova wont ope, nor the task bar search panel. Copy/Paste from the Clipboard using Windows key and v, the clipboard assistant is just grey, cant access any history.I have tried everything from a google search to fix it ,nothing worked so i started to go back and remove updates, then add

Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command
  
• 
  Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Search for the programs and un-install it.

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

 

KB5004237 will not install!

Three out of my four computers have installed KB5004237 without any problems - the remaining one stalls at 20%, and throws up error 0x800f081f.
I have run sfc + dism + the update trouble-shooter to no avail.
It would seem that I am missing certain data/ previous update from what I can gather. Is this a known problem? and is there a starting point for me to try.
Windows update suggests that I am up to date.
