Windows 10: KB5008212 --> unbootable system BSOD: INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE

KB5008212 causes my system to become unbootable.Specifically, when restarting after installing the update, it will take uncharacteristically long, displaying the progress circle thing underneath the windows logo, then go to a BSOD with INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE.I then booted from a USB drive, and tried the various recovery methods available there. They all either failed or accomplished nothing e.g. trying to uninstall latest quality or feature updates, not possible, or trying to use a restore point, tells me I have to select the Windows installation first. Which I never get a chance to do, bec

It is an intermediate level link.
There are more advanced steps that can be ran once the partition structure is known.
There are steps for repair of the boot sector, operating system, etc.
Sometimes this bugcheck can be caused by windows updates.

A reset save files equivalent may be able to be performed.
Alternatively a clean install can be performed once important files are backed up.
