When I install this update, I lose my internet. I still have my network, but no internet. My NPCAP Loopback connector also says it has no IP assignment although it is set on "Automatic."

    KB5011831

extremely terrible performance all across PC since today's Windows Upd

Microsoft just released KB5011831 on the 'Release Preview Channel' on April 14th.
    (not yet available to everybody)

Releasing Windows 10 Build 19044.1679 to Release Preview Channel

They say they fixed an issue that delays OS startup by approximately 40 minutes!
    Maybe a coincidence?

Either way I would replace the hard drive with an ssd, if possible.
