    KB5017308 fails with 0x800F0922


    Howdy folks, does anyone have recovery steps for WU failing to install OS update with 0x800F0922? Installing onto DIY PC with ASRock B550m/ac motherboard. Latest BIOS applied. UEFI boot, GPT main drive and tried with Secure Boot both enabled and disabled.

    If any employees from Windows Update team are lurking, I'd appreciate a DM and we can discuss offline.

    Cumulative Update Fails with Error - 0x800F0922

    Hello Marvin,

    Yes. I am still working on this issues. One Microsoft site mentioned that the error 0x800F0922 was caused by space issue on the "system reserved partition. I downloaded a tool to increase the size but it did not help.

    I'm out of options right now. Any suggestions?

    The update installs fine but after the reboot when it's installing updates, it fails over there.
