Windows 10: KB5020311 22H2 update fails with error 0x80073701

Windows update KB5020311 update installation fails with error 0x80073701 on Dell Alienware laptop.If anyone is able to help I am struggling to get this update installed.I've tried the "normal" remediations for this that include stopping services, deleting the update catalog, running a system check to repair corrupt files there were reported files repaired, etc. but I cannot get it to work.I really need to avoid reinstalling this system as it has some software on it that would be difficult to deploy if reinstallation was needed there is a medical imaging software package on the machine that

Running Window 11 Professional.

I've tried several times, but the latest Windows 11 update
(KB5014668) keeps failing with error 0x80073701.

A web site suggested I try clean booting. I tried it. It didn't help.

So I'm writing to ask if anyone has any suggestions to fix that
inability to update error 0x80073701 .

Looks like the two key things are the error number 0x80073701
and ERROR_SXS_ASSEMBLY_MISSING

Have you also checked absolute basics:
- check your disk (e.g. HDTune v2.55 free Health and Error Scan tabs
- if ok, run
chkdsk c: /scan
from an admin command or Powershell prompt

I am trying to update my windows from windows 10 21H2 to 22H2 but at 100% install, it comes up with error (0x80073701)
