    KB5026039 Win 10 update and KB5025221 Win 11 update BREAKING CHROME GPO


    This is just a heads up and hopes to get this to a MS rep for them to address. There is currently a huge problem with KB5026039 Win 10 update and KB5025221 Win 11 updates where if a client machine is domain joined and getting a Chrome GPO which includes setting it as a default browser, the Windows Default Apps window launches each time Google Chrome is launched. The easiest solution is to uninstall whichever of these updates depending on the OS you are running.

    Win 10 1607 update

    Installed the update manually at the the moment everything is bueno.
    It seems that Microsoft has a big problem in there update department windows 7 update has problems win 8 update has problems. Windows 10 update is so-so.

    yeah, I run Win 10 and Win 7 dual boot on separate ssd's. and to be honest I get better performance in gaming benchmarks and higher fps in Win 7. I prefer Win 10 though just for the look of it(subjective) and never upgraded from the 1607 Anniversary build nor have been offered it through Windows update.
    having seen all the issues with the 'Creators' update on the BF1 forums I never had any intention of using it thankfully.
