Windows 10: KB5028166‎ - is causing performance issue

Hi,KB5028166‎ - is causing performance issue.On some Win 10 installation frezees at 90% and it causes app/hardware performance issues.How to avoid installation?Is MS going to do something with that? Or as always they are testing updates on production :

KB5028166, Printer Spooler issues

It looks like after KB5028166 was installed a bunch of computers freeze what ever application is trying to print. If you stop the printer spool service the dialog comes up but obviously you aren't able to see the printers.

If the spooler is running, cannot open devices and printers (Just hangs), cannot start programs that seem to check for printers in the background, cannot print.

The fix I found was detacting what ever dock is connected and disconnect from wifi. The problem does come back after a restart. I haven't seen anything else posted or noted but it seems to be pretty prevolent in my building.

Side note, probably unrelated but KB5028166 is not listed in "Installed Updates" in control panel so unable to manually uninstall. Also after uninstalling some updates, it looks like new updates are present (Updates with different KB#) in "Installed Updates"

Compensation for the issue caused by Windows 10 update KB5028166

Just yesterday, I discovered that my laptop was unable to establish a network connection. Despite my best efforts and various attempted solutions, I was unable to resolve the issue myself. As a result, I had no choice but to seek professional help from a tech support store. After their assistance, the issue was finally rectified today.

However, the repair was not cheap, costing me $90. The service involved uninstalling the Windows update KB5028166 and running a Microsoft utility to prevent the update from reinstalling.

It's clear that this predicament was not due to any mistake on my part, but rather, it was a consequence of the said Windows update. Consequently, I believe it's only fair for Windows to compensate me for the problems caused by their update.

There is an emerging bug in KB5028166 that is being reported by many uses that causes this issue, the best option is to uninstall that update and pause your updates until Microsoft resolve this bug.

Because this bug s not listed yet on the Microsoft Updates site, please open the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F) and report this bug, the more people that report this, the sooner they will put out a patch for that update.
