Windows 10: KB5028997?

I cant figure out how to resize the partition in the article, the commands are giving me trouble because I cant access or resize the volume required. What should I do?

I did all the steps you said from the cmd to the troubleshooting yet nothing has worked and there is no update KB5028997 in the uninstall menu for me to uninstall so I cannot do so. What are the other methods of fixing this.

 

How to hide recovery partition (/set partition as recovery type) after following KB5028997 instructions?

I solely created the F drive (as a partition of the C drive) to act as the recovery partition after following the instructions. At the time I believed this would create a new partition that was of the recovery type (as labelled in the list disk function of diskpart) and as such would not show up as its own individual 790MB drive hence the reason for asking a way to hide/ change the type from primary to recovery like what I had before following the instructions laid out in "KB5028997: Instructions to manually resize your partition to install the WinRE update". So yes I would like to move the WinRE to the F drive and have the F drive listed as a recovery type so it is hidden.

I have two hard drive Primary C: and Secondary D:

I've applied the steps outlined here on Drive D: and I've lost drive D: completely?

Please Please How can I restore my (Disk1) Drive D: contents?

Before attempting KB5028997 steps, the diskpart list disk showed two drives.

Upon losing (disk1) drive D: I've begun System Restore with new flash drive 32GB recovery and this is currently running. And so, the diskpart list disk shows three drives (including the 32GB recovery flash drive running which is Disk 2)
