    KB5030219 - How to uninstall?

Since the September 12th updates, I have had a major problem with "right-clicking" on both the "Desktop" & "File Explorer" even in "Safe" mode. This affected only 1 of the 3 PCs I have [all x64 "Windows 11 Pro"]. The fixes I attemped are detailed here but include both an [offline] restore and a "Repair Install". The only way I have been able to use the PC [being a big "right-clicker"] is to disable the "New Context Menu".I read the documentation for KB5030219 and attempted to uninstall it. Specifically, I had trouble indentifying the correct uninstall sequence as the KB numbers are not lis

  2. How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Update Error 0x800f081f for Update KB5030219

I am getting this error for Cumulative updates since a month, to be more precise Update KB5030219

As shown in the video posted below, the other update succesfully gets downloaded and installed while the reported update gives me error code 0x800f081f. Video listed is a timelapse fast forward it to the end to see the error

Laptop Model: Asus Vivobook 15.6 inch M515DA-BQ512WS

Steps I have tried to resolve the error:

    1. Every process mentioned in this thread, yet none worked to resolve this.
    2. Appraoched ASUS service centre, where they suggested me to clean wipe and install the updates to resolve this error.
Yet one of the working engineer also suggested me to write this in the forum as last step of hope before resetting the whole laptop.

Installing every application to be at today's restore point will take me around 15-20 hours of continous screen time, which I really not willing to take.

I am usually on & off my wifi for work conditions, hence attempts to pause the updates have also been out of question.

I am also curious to understand the reason for initiation of this error. Also, would love to explore any other possibilities where I might have missed to neutralise this error as it is affecting my meter connection.

Hope to see similar reports or expertise so as to collectively resolve this error for the community.

    KB5030219 - How to uninstall?

KB5030219 keeps disabling my start button after installation

The Update KB5030219 disables the start button and search block after installation, I have tested this out 5 times, i uninstall it and reboot and then I can use the start button again and search feature, after it gets installed, i no longer can use the start button or search at all, I repeated the process 5 times to ensure it was that update and on the Powerspec computer that I purchased from MicroCenter, this is in fact the problem,

    September 12, 2023—KB5030219 (OS Build 22621.2283) - Microsoft Support

I have attempted to notify Microsoft that they do in fact have a problem with this update so they can update that article with "known issues, it disables start and search feature on computers", so if you install that update and have your start button disabled, you will have to Right click on Start, left click on "installed apps", (left click on start will do nothing), click on Windows Update, click on Update History, collapse the lists, go to Uninstall Updates, uninstall update KB5030219.

I have no idea how to tell Microsoft they are wrong that it doesn't affect anything, because it clearly does, maybe not on all PC's but definitely on Powerspec computers. I have Windows 11 Pro OS build 22621.2215 with experience pack 1000.22662.1000.0 installed.
