Windows 10: KB5030310 and AMD bug

Since the KB5030310 from Microsoft the AMD software has been completely bugged. Annoyingly, I cannot seem to uninstall any of this mess I didn't want nor needed in the first place. Any AMD driver software glitches, and whenever I try to override it, the system freezes. I'm getting tired of this constant **** that Microsoft puts in every update, almost as to forcefully show how relevant their ideas still are.Perhaps they forgot the saying ''Don't fix what's not broken''.I am asking for someone who can guide me through a removal of these kind of updates, not a fix so that the ''new epic features

Hardware Bug in AMD CPU Family

both intel and AMD keep updated lists of known faults for their cpus, its been posted on here before im sure, each cpu seems to have a massive list of known bugs and errors but they chunder away, odd isnt it*Roll Eyes

 

Windows 11 KB5030310

No, there is nothing new on the system. Windows updates are all in up to KB5030310.

Considering that the problem shows up when KB5030310 is installed and disappears when it is uninstalled points, I think, that there is some problem with this update on my system.

The question is - are there any similar reports of other users? What can I do? Obviously, I will not be able to install Win11 23H2 until KB5030310 is installed first and working.

SSD samsung evo and amd drivers

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

The issue could be because of the AMD drivers installed on the computer.

Since the Samsung SSD is working fine with the Microsoft AHCI driver, I suggest you to update the AMD driver and check if that helps. To update the AMD drivers follow the steps from the article

Update drivers in Windows 10.

If updating the drivers didn’t help, I suggest you to roll back the driver to previous build and check if that helps. To roll back the driver to previous build follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
   
2. Select Device manager.
   
3. In Device manager, expand IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers.
   
4. Right click on AMD SATA Controller and select
   Properties.
   
5. Navigate to the Driver tab and click on Roll Back Driver.
   
6. Restart the computer.
