winver--23h2 build 22631.3593. It starts the install, reboots, then says something is wrong and reverts back to the previous state

Windows update show 23H2 installed winver show 22H2

Hi. Im baffled. I went back to a full os disk backup (its a full one the whole disk not just a regular backup) and when i write winver i get this (check images) and windows update tells me something else, i know i was on 23H2 but now when going back to this backup even though it backed up when i was on 23H2 it says 22H2, its obvious also when you look at the timestamp when updates where made, i have 22h2 current date updates and 23h2 update that is in the past, so i should be on 23h2 not 22h2 makes no sense.

2024-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5039212) keeps crashing my computer

2024-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5039212) keeps crashing my computer and blue screening me before I can even log in. Anyone else having this issue? I've tried rebooting, power cycling for 1/5/10 minutes. I've done a system restore and every time it re-installs the update it crashes my pc.

Build is:

Board MSI H510I PRO WIFI (MS-7D16)
Processor: Intel Core i5-10400
