KB5039895 - it is recking our email and pdf attachments while tryng to invoice in Sage 50 - our front computer shows the Microsoft update was installed under history but when i go to list of KB's to uninstall it isnt there . i need to get KB5039895 off that machine asap. SAGE tells me the only way to get me up and running again is to have Microsoft remove it from the machine

My outlook will not send invoices out of my sage program

If you're having trouble sending invoices from your Sage program through Outlook, here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check email settings: Ensure that your email settings within Sage are configured correctly. Verify the outgoing mail server (SMTP) settings, authentication settings, port number, and encryption method. You may need to consult Sage's documentation or support resources for specific instructions on configuring email settings.
    2. Test email settings: Use the built-in email test feature in Sage (if available) to check if your email settings are functioning correctly. This feature typically allows you to send a test email from within the Sage program to verify the connection with your email server. If the test email is successful, it indicates that your email settings are properly configured.
    3. Check Outlook configuration: Confirm that your Outlook email account is set up and working correctly outside of the Sage program. Ensure that you can send and receive emails using Outlook independently. If you're encountering any issues with Outlook, such as error messages or failed send/receive operations, address those issues first before attempting to send invoices from Sage.
    4. Verify file attachments: If your invoices contain file attachments, ensure that the file format and size are compatible with Outlook's attachment limits. Some email providers or email clients impose limits on the file size of attachments, so check if your invoices, including any attached files, comply with those limitations.
    5. Antivirus and firewall settings: Check your antivirus or firewall settings to ensure they are not blocking the connection between Sage and Outlook. Temporarily disabling your antivirus or firewall software (if it's safe to do so) and attempting to send invoices again can help determine if these security measures are interfering with the process.
    6. Update software versions: Ensure that you have the latest versions of both Sage and Outlook installed. Software updates often include bug fixes and improvements that can address compatibility issues or known problems with sending emails.
    7. Contact Sage support: If you have followed the steps above and are still unable to send invoices from Sage through Outlook, it's recommended to contact Sage's customer support for further assistance. They will have specific knowledge of their software and can provide you with more detailed troubleshooting steps or solutions tailored to your specific setup.
Remember, since I'm an AI language model, I don't have access to specific system configurations or software details. Therefore, it's essential to consult Sage's documentation, support resources, or reach out to their support team for more specific guidance.

    sage 50

Hello Lisa, I’m Virginia & I will be offering advice on how to fix your problem.

Is the 2018 update to the Sage 50 software? Did you install it over the previous version? If the answer is yes to both then it may be that there’s some leftover registry entries from the older version, you could try uninstalling Sage 50 with Revo uninstaller
which will clean the leftovers & then you can reinstall Sage 50.

    This what Sage’s support says:

These are supported under Windows 10:

    Sage 50 Accounts v23

    Sage 50 Accounts v22

    Sage 50 Accounts v21

    Sage 50 Accounts v20

    Sage 50 Accounts v19

Existing installations of Sage 50 Accounts

If you have Sage 50 Accounts 2013 (v19) or above installed on your computer and you upgrade to Windows 10, your software is still supported. However, if you have any issues you may need to reinstall your software.

Sage 50 Accounts 2012 (v18) and below is not supported on Windows 10.

I hope this solves your problem.
