Windows 10: KB5040370 not appearing on download history?

I am currently in the process of downloading preview updates, one of them was a .net update called "June 25, 2024-KB5040370 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2"When it reached 100% on installation, it vanished, no errors or anything however it absolutely doesn't appear in the download history at all on windows update.Is this typical of ,net updates or should I be alarmed? this seems to be only happening .net updates refusing to appear on history

File History not backing up any files

Thank you for the response. I had already checked that thread, but it hasn't helped me:

• The thread deals with Windows 8's implementation of File History, which is somewhat different to that of Windows 10.
• Most of the thread deals with setting up File History (which I have already done, precisely following the recommended steps). The third link in the thread might have been useful since it appears to link to a page that deals with troubleshooting File History
  (as opposed to setting it up), but unfortunately the link is dead.

Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Nokia Store download history

Can you clear the Nokia Store download history in other words delete notably free apps you have tried but no longer want to appear in the download history list after you have un-installed them.

 

Firefox download history shows virus file and....

I was not suggesting that you clear all browser history but merely that you press Ctrl-J and use its Clear downloads item. But if clearing all history is giving you problems, I don't know enough about Firefox to know how you might avoid having to reinstall it. Ghot might be able to help you as he knows Firefox very well indeed. @Ghot - Mike, this OP is having problems trying to remove an entry from the Firefox downloads list and, in the course of addressing this problem, has discovered that clearing the whole history is stopping Firefox working at all until the next reboot.
