Windows 10: KB5042320 needed but not being offered

I have a machine that's been picked up on an audit as not having the patch for CVE-2024-38163, which I believe is resolved by installing KB5042320The recovery partition did not have enough free space, as per the guidelines, so I used the provided script to add 250mb space which has been run successfully and verified that reagentc is enabled.Windows Update is still not picking up the KB as available - it just shows the machine is up to date.I left it for 3 days to see if it would pick up the update this worked on an indentical machine which had the same issue, but it still shows up to date an

Thank you for your reply.

I am still lost but here goes:

• Only known “change” was starting to use Edge browser (which came with new Asus in May) in addition to Firefox. No earlier problem with new or old PC prior to late June.

• New PC came with Kaspersky with which I am uncertain after the contract period.

• Ads appear when opening email messages ( which are genuine) and must be deleted before continuing with the email. Sites are those I have visited for years.

• Below are samples of the ads and where possible their urls

• Only steps taken are to seek help and direct profanity toward whomever sends this trash
