Windows 10: KB5043064 Windows 10 Pro x86 22H2 failing on multiple 32-bit systems with E_NOTENOUGHMEMORY...

Greetings! We have at least two Windows 10 Pro x86 Feature 22H2 systems 32-bit OS on 64-bit processors FAILING with a CBS.log posting of E_NOTENOUGHMEMORY for KB5043064 LCU 09/10/2024. These systems are limited, of course to 4 Gigabytes of Main Memory and their physical memory is at least that. One is a Lenovo T510 laptop PC and the other is an H-P Compaq 8000 Elite Ultra-small Desktop PC. Neither has Intel i-technology processors, but older generation models e.g. Core2Duo. Even after increasing the maximum Paging Area size to over 10 Gigabytes, the Not Enough Memory error persist

Why program files are listed as 32-bit (x86) while operating system is 64-bit in Windows 10

Original Title: 64bit or 32bit?

Hello. I'm a bit confused as to why my program files are listed as 32-bit (x86) while my system is 64-bit. It's listed as 64-bit under system settings however the x86 would lead me to believe otherwise. Any ideas? I
am running Windows 10.

 

How do I install IE 32 bit and/or switch from 64 bit to 32 bit?

Windows 10: Internet Explorer

• You need to have Windows 10 64-bit(x64) to use this feature
• To check:
  • Click on Windows Key
  • Click on Settings
  • Click on System
  • On left panel click on About
  • On right panel check system type:
    • System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
      • That means you have Windows 10 64-bit
    • System Type: 32-bit operating system, x86-based processor
      • That means you have Windows 10 32-bit
• Internet Explorer
  • 32-bit(x86):
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe
  • 64-bit(x64):
    • C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe

Note:

• You cannot switch between Windows 10 32-bit to 64-bit. you need to re-install Windows 10 64 bit.
• To download Windows 10 64-bit:
  Microsoft - "Windows 10 - Download tool now"

If the system architect is 32 bit, then you can’t install 64 bit version of windows in it. I suggest you to run “winver” by pressing Windows + R, and check the version and bit.

There are some games that you can install it in 32 bit as well.

Windows 10 is the free upgrade for those users who has genuine key for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 , normally it doesn't require activation, it's gets activated automatically, in case if you face an issue with activation the you can get back to
