Windows 10: KB5053598 March 2025 update and KB5055523 April 2025 doesn't want to work.

Good day I am struggling with my laptop with following windows update KB5053598 and the newest windows update but I got an error 0x80070306 install error on my laptop screen and I tried everything Delete software Distribution and catroot2 content of the folder. I did Dism and sfcdisk on command prompt,I tried other like clean boot and I followed the instructions on youtube it didn't work.I followed co pilot instructions all methods I tried it didn't work it was gave me a blue-green of death since February 2025.Then Last month of March 2025 I struggled two March update but it give me the same e

Future of Windows before 2020 and 2025

Microsoft has released several versions of Windows 10 since 2015:

Windows 10 1507 - July 2015

Windows 10 1511 - November 2016

Windows 10 1607 - August 2016

Windows 10 1703 - April 2017

Windows 10 1709 - October 2017

Next version of Windows 10 coming March 2018 - 1803.

As part of Windows as a service, users will need to be on the two most recent releases or their device will still have to support it in 2025.

But in 2025, you will have a version of Windows 10 called 2503 and 2509

In 2026, you will have versions 2603 and 2609.

New versions are released in Spring and Fall of each year.

Windows is a 'service' now, meaning the idea of versioning where you had Windows 7, 8, 10 are irrelevant.

 

Microsoft is killing off support for the WSA. Would all Android apps, including apps installed by using an APK, will just simply ceases to function after March 5th 2025?

As users here don't work for Microsoft it's difficult to verify exactly what will happen. Certainly after 5 March 2025 if the Amazon app gets an update that cannot be applied to Windows 11 then it will stop working.

Some others may have better knowledge about how it works generally but if the apps depend on WSA to function then they will stop after 5 March 2025.

Good evening,

As others may have seen on a recent post by myself, I want to know what support, if any , is available for win 10 machines after updates stop being pushed out after Oct 2025. After mid Oct 2025 , do all win 10 machines effectively become obsolete and unusable ?
