    KB5053598 update for windows 11 24H2 keep failing UNRESOLVED


    Hi,I am using Win 11 and a few weeks ago KB5053598 came along. When the PC attempted to update it rebooted etc and tried updating only to report that it had failed and went through the uninstall process. Typically this attempt to install and uninstall takes around 5 minutes.But then it repeatedly recognises the same upgrade and attempts to upgrade and reinstall with the same result each time.It is clear that KB5053598 has some issue and my question is there anyway I can prevent Win 11 update to just ignore or bypasss this update as each time new updates are found it is thrown in the pot and th

    There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

    I am trying Eagle 51's suggestions now. Windows Update troubleshooter found a bunch of errors and fixed all but one.The update is trying to download KB4025339 again. I'll see what happens. At step one troubleshooter finishes with one error unresolved "Potential Windows Update Database Error Detected-Not Fixed". Windows update stalled at 0%.

    At step 2 same troubleshooter error. The KB finished a new download failed to install.
    Did step 3 KB has downloaded but fails to install.

    If Eagle's suggestion doesn't work I'll try EdTittel's suggestion

    Tried bothe Eagle & Ed 's suggestions - do not work. Anyone else?

    I have noticed that the latest update for my nvidia drivers has failed to update. Wondering about that!
