Windows 10: Keep generating an OFFSYM.TTF folder when I copy the Windows/Fonts folder. Anyone know why?

The software I'm running all of a sudden stopped when it accessed the Windows/Fonts folder. The software developer says that there is a corrupt font. He wanted me to zip up my Fonts folder and see if he can identify the corrupt font. I copied the Fonts folder onto my desktop and noticed a folder had been generated. Apparently when the software I'm running starts up, it accesses the Windows/Fonts folder and loads all the fonts with extensions ttf and otf. It thinks the folder that is being generated when it accesses the fonts, is a font since it has .TTF in name. Can't seem to get past th

Hi Dave, I tried with both ttf and otf and it didn't work. I tried pasting the fonts into the fonts folder but getting the same error. Don't know what happened to the font folder if everything's running OK. Here's the screenshot of the error:-

Are those new fonts in ttf format?

Close all open applications

Open Windows File Explorer

Navigate to C:\Windows\Fonts

Can you just copy those font files into that folder?

You can do the following steps to do fonts more readable:

1) Create folder "Fonts" (someplace on the comp)

2) Copy thither Arial.ttf 3 times (you will got 3 files)

3) Rename this three files as NOSNR60.TTF, NOSSB60.TTF, NOSTSB60.TTF

4) Connect phone

5) open card

6) Copy our fonts NOSNR60.TTF, NOSSB60.TTF, NOSTSB60.TTF from our folder "Font" to folder "E:\resource\Fonts\"

7) Reboot smartphone.
