The long-running script error usually occurs when there are issues with Internet Explorer.

Exceptionally Long Running Scripts in Windows 10 Edge

I intended to type Windows 10 Edge. My apology for incorrectly describing the browser. Yes Microsoft Edge with MSN.com as default home page. The links to inquiries of others below are evidence of the situation. The frustration of the browser hanging because
of long running scripts has existed since Windows 8 and IE it seems. An expert suggests on one reply that it is a website problem rather than the Edge browser. Then why does it occur on so many MSN links? The past few days it's been exaggerated. No particular
website. Any given articles of interest in MSN.

I've read many of your responses BulldoggXX and have respect for your input. Please advise.
