Windows 10: Keep getting pop up that seems to want me to sign into a School or Organization...

While in Outlook, Windows seems to want me to sign into a School or Organization Acct which I am not aware of. How did I get rid of this troublesome pop up sign in problem?

Unlink School Account

Ok that started to make sense now. So where you clicked is not referring to your main account/local user, but account used by email/Microsoft apps. So since your office 365 apps are using the school email credentials it sends you there. That’s normal.

The reason it is not listed under access work or school is because I believe you didn’t allow it to access your settings. When you sign into office 365 apps there’s a pop up asking if you allow organization to access your settings you have the option to choose “for this app only”. Otherwise if you choose allow your school email will be listed under access work or school.

The steps I have listed above are the only things that can cause the 'Organization' error in Windows, either awork or school account causes this, or a 3rd party anti-virus, or those commands should solve this, the only other thing I can suggest is to create a new user account in Windows and move all your data to that account.

 

I keep getting message "sign in to access work or school"

I don't work or go to school. How do I stop the message to sign in to access work or school? The message also says "for security reasons, you need to sign in again before you can access resources for your organization"
