Windows 10: Keep getting push notifications that I can't be attached to my microst account

I try to be pretty careful online. Got on the other day and a password notification on someone tryimg to access acct fromgmjung Yheu could onvioobvusly never get I'm because 2fa and email codes. What happened to my account? Thanks By the way I get about 3 nine and get it in

How do I enable push notification for two-step verification on Microsoft accounts?

The question says it all. I'd like to be able to use one-click two-step verification via push notification for my MS Accounts (I have no problem using it for the work accounts I use). I found a document that suggested this was possible using the new Authenticator
app. I've gone through the process of registering my device with the app and there's nowhere obvious that allows me to choose between using a code or a push notification for verification.

[Update: NO live tiles can be enabled anymore after a power on/off cycle with the live tiles disabled.]

I have not been able to get push notifications to enable on a couple of applications. I get an error notification that implies the 15 app limit has been reached. However, I can't find nearly that many apps installed that even offer push notification, let alone
those with it turned on.

Apps I want to have push enabled for:

• Birdsong: Tried to enable notifications, but receives error message. I can temporarily turn off another app to get this one to work, verifying that it's not the app's fault.
• Facebook: Installed with push turned on.
• GoVoice: Installed with push turned on.
• IM+: Installed with push turned on.
• Weather (the Weather Channel): Installed, push/live tile turned on.

Apps that are installed, but I don't care about the live tile functions for:

• ArkWords: Installed, but live tile option turned off.
• Clever ToDo: Installed, but live tile option turned off. Shouldn't matter anyway since it's not a push coming from the internet.
• MyTrips: Installed, live tile turned off.

I really don't mind the 15 app limit. However, we currently have no way to accurately identify which apps are using those 15 slots, and control their enabled/disabled state. I only want 5, and I can't get that! And don't you dare tell me to hard reset!

Please, please PLEASE give the user COMPLETE control to view, enable, and disable ALL slots for push/pull notifications. I agree that I don't want everyone and their brother tying up my battery life and data connection. I've got to know which ones are trying
to, though!

Push Notification History

Is there a way to see Push Notification history. The notification window is small and seems to go away quickly. It would be nice to be able to see a historical list of the recent notifications. Can the Push Notifications be added to the lock screen
with more text?
