Windows 10: keep getting usb disconnect sound followed by spike in lag

so a few days ago i started to get a bug where i will get the USB disconnect and reconnect sound play randomly and hag a lag spike in game or in a program I have no idea what started it or what is doing it, i used USB log viewer and nothing comes up and being counted or disconnected so I'm at a loss of what to do, its very very annoying and causes issues sometimes, all i have plugged into my PC's USB is my keyboard and mouse.

• What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
• Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

Americas Army lag spikes?

I play AA (Americas Army) all the time, and recently I have been getting these lag spikes, that I used to not get. Anybody know why? It will jump, then it will go back to do what it does. Not a big deal, but any suggestions would be helpful.

I suggest you to Change the USB power management settings and check.

• 
  Open Device Manager.
  
• 
  Double-click the type USB to change power management settings.
  
• 
  Right-click the specific device you want, and then click
  Properties.
  
• 
  On the Power Management tab, change the power management settings.
