Windows 10: Keep losing Ethernet connection

I reset my PC the other day & since then my ethernet connection drops all the time. Before I reset, I di not have any internet issues. When I disconnect and reconnect it starts working fine, but will soon drop again. None of the other computers in the house are affected. When I turn on my PC, the ethernet connection connects to the internet but roughly five minutes later, it disconnects. Troubleshooting leads to the statement "default gateway not available", which is quickly and easily fixed by rebooting the connection, but it keeps on happening on average it cuts out everey 5-10 mins at

Ethernet keeps losing connection

Ethernet keeps losing connection for some reason. I thought it was wireless as the picture shows.

it looks like it's wireless can't connect and this is happening with Ethernet is connected. It loses connection once every 2 minutes and that's no joke and lasts for a couple of minutes. Correct me if I am wrong but it should connect to wireless when this happens. As I have the wireless connection set up. But Ethernet won't let it connect I know this as I have been wireless for 2 weeks now. I haven't lost connection once. But I would like to be connected through Ethernet as I lose 60 meg going wireless and I am right next to router. Has anyone got any ideas how to fix this? Thank you in advance.

Think it might be fixed, got this icon but this time it's connected

I have disabled wireless network. No it's not fixed for sure but stayed connected for a while need to go back to wireless.

 

Ethernet Constantly Loses Connection

Sometimes when I connect my ethernet cable, it works fine and I have internet connection for a few hours. Sometimes, for a few minutes. I had one day where my ethernet worked perfectly fine where it didn't lose connection at all, but more recently, it
doesn't want to stay connected. Pretty much every single time I have run the troubleshooter to find out what the problem was, it comes back with 'default gateway unavailable'. I have tried changing the cables, changing powerline adapters (TP-Link TL-PA411s),
updating drivers, reinstalling drivers and nothing has worked. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what the problem is and how I can fix it?
