Windows 10: Keep me signed in not working when I close browsers

Sites with the 'keep me signed in' option like Amazon or Google are not keeping me in, even after I checked the box. Specifically, if I close the browser altogether, but not when I log in, make a new tab, close the first tab I logged in from, and go back to the site I logged in from. I checked my Edge settings and made sure that I allowed sites to save cookies, and that clear cookie on exit was turned off. I tried using Google Chrome, but I still had the same issues there. I don't really know if this is Windows 11, Microsoft account, or my computer but I never encountered this problem with Win

Have you tried resetting your browser? If not, we suggest you to do so. To reset Edge, follow these steps:

Browser keeps closing - Windows 10

My browser keeps closing. Doesn't matter which browser I use. It is always closing down. Any suggestions?
