Windows 10: Keep needing to do a recovery after computer tries to update to Windows 11

So, I have a Surface Book 2 windows 10, and updated it to Windows 11 soon after the update was available. Everything worked well for a few months until I did one of those regular updates and then my computer crashed. I had to create a recovery image and do a recovery by drive to fix the issue. Now, everytime the computer tries to update to Windows 11, it crashes and I have to recover it. This has happened 3 times now. I tried to just not update my computer, but it downloaded Windows 11 without permission and here I am again. Is there anyway to fix the issue?

According to this list, your PC isn't on Acer's approved list for Win 10. Could you check that?

This is an older PC which came with Win 7. Have you ever clean installed Win 10 on it?

We can only proceed step by step.

So chkdsk and SFC /Scannow are ok. But any attempt to reset your PC or run DISM fails.

Is this what you tried? I'm not 100% clear what the above means. Clean install or this procedure?

If you tried this, it's possible it failed as you need (it seems) some 500Mb of unallocated space on your hard disk.
