Windows 10: Keep Windows 10 Taskbar Icon Width Same on First Row When Taskbar Height Is Increased?

Hello,I'm using Windows 10 and I'm trying to customize my taskbar. I want to increase the vertical height of the taskbar to allow for multiple rows of icons like in a double-height taskbar, but I want the icons in the first row to retain the same width and spacing as they have in first image.However, whenever I unlock the taskbar and drag it taller, Windows automatically increases the spacing and changes the icon layout, making everything look more spread out.Is there any way—through settings, registry tweaks—to keep the icon size and spacing for the first row while still using a multi-row t

How to increase taskbar to 2 or more rows in Windows 11

I agree as I have the same issue. My Windows 10 workflow usually has 10-15 windows open and ungrouped so I can see the labels/names. So, it is a very important feature for me to have the ability to increase the taskbar height so it shows double or two rows of taskbar items. With windows 11 I lose both the ability to ungroup and to increase the taskbar height to have more rows for windows. This is a feature since Windows 98 and sadly a loss of productivity that will keep me from upgrading to Windows 11.

 

Allow for 2 rows of icons in taskbar?

locking/unlocking and adjusting the height/width of the taskbar is easy enough to do. But the issue I'm looking into is how to allow for 2 rows of icons within the taskbar.
I don't have a Win7 machine available right now to snapshot for you, but in Win7 you could create multiple rows of icons within the taskbar. (I did find an image on Google close enough to reference)


Within Win10, we seem to have lost that feature. It appears that I can only have a single row of icons that will make you continue scrolling in a single line across the taskbar.

I'm just wondering if there's a way to allow multiple rows of icons in the taskbar again in Win10

 

Shortcut icons on bottom of taskbar.

I had the desktop shortcut icons on the bottom of the taskbar until I did a reset. Can someone tell me how to get them back?

The icons I am referring to show up below the icons I pined to the TASKBAR. When I increased the height of the taskbar another row of icons would appear below the previous row. I normally adjusted the height of the taskbar so that I had three rows
of the icons besides the ones I pined. OS Windows 10
