Windows 10: Keeping the desktop open

I use several Windows PCs either Windows 10 and Windows Server 2xxx. If I don't do anything on a given PC after few minutes I need to logon again. How can I configure the PCs so that the desktop remains open even if I don't do anything? Can I set this behavior with a Group Policy?

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.

To assist you better regarding your concern with WiFi, we suggest that you reinstall the network adapter in device manager and see if it'll resolve the concern. Check the steps below:

• Open Device Manager.
• Double-click the type of device that you want to uninstall.
• Right-click the specific device you want, and then click Uninstall.
• Once done, click OK, then restart the computer to reinstall the driver automatically.
