Windows 10: Keeping work laptops

Hi,We're currently in the middle of recycling our old laptops and a couple of staff members want to keep theirs. The laptops were windows 7 and I've upgraded one of them so far to windows 10 to wipe all of the company stuff and to make things easier for me. What I was wondering is when I upgraded it to windows 10 windows was already activated and wondered if I should be deactivating windows before we let them keep them incase it's anything to do with the work licensing etc.I found online you can find out what kind of license you have by running slmgr -dli is cmd. Which laptop should I buy with budget within 1000USD?

Really, you should be getting a list of laptops you like the look of, narrowing it down and then asking on here which is best.

Asking people for suggestions really doesn't work well as most people only have experience with 1-2 laptops at a time.

Searching all the shopping sites and creating a list for you is a lot of work.

You need to do the work and we can help with the rest.
