Windows 10: Kept getting TEMP profile after reboot. Did fix steps here, now can't manage windows...

The latest update seems to have borked my machine. I started seeing problems with NordVPN, so I stopped using that. Then I could no longer connect to my NAS. When trying to reenable network discovery, that switch would not stick. I would set it to ON, save, come back and it is OFF. Then windows decided to create a whole new user profile every time I reboot. I went through the steps here, here, and finally here. All of them multiple times. None worked satisfactorily. Hi..

I am facing the problem of temp profile login. I followed few steps stated in the websites like removing .bak from your SID. but it doesn't work. Still my profile is logging in to temp profile.

Please do suggest some solution

I am a Systems Engineer (entry-Level) and I am having this issue. I have followed all the steps that were listed, even created a new user account. This is for a customer. When I followed the steps, before creating a new user, i kept changing the path to point to the correct place. The second time, and following, I ended up getting the 2 SID's, one with the .bak. Followed the steps to delete the regular one and rename the .bak. restarted and still signs in as a temp profile. So I ended up cfreating a new user and still get the same Temp profile issue. Could you suggest something? Thanks.
