Windows 10: Kernal is missing or contains errors 0x000007b

    The last thing I did was I reset my PC and deleted all the files and after a few hours this popped up

    0x000007b and mfperhelper.dll missing errors

    Hi,

    I've been trying to play FFXIV for a couple months now, without success. Seems like an update crashed the game.

    I get the error 0x000007b at first, and when I try adding .dll files, it gives me this other error, mfperhelper.dll missing.

    I found this thread but the solution did not help, neither every suggestion I found on YouTube, on SquareEnix forums and on reddit.

    Redirecting

    Square Enix tells me it is a Windows issue.

    All drivers are up to date. Win too.

    Windows Couldn't be loaded because kernal is missing or contains error

    Windows 8.1 Lite is not an authorised edition of Windows 8.1 from Microsoft.

    I suggest that you contact where you got this edition from for assistance with any problems.
