    Kernal Power 41 problem

Hello, this Kernal Power 41, Driver State Faliure has been happening a few times now, shows up when I restart or shut down. Not always though. I have a 4080 s , 9900x, 32 gigs of ram. One time, youtube videos took really long to load the video not the website and I decided to restart, which led to the blue screen. Any help is appreciated.

    :)

  3. Random Kernal Power 41 shutdowns preceded by Kernal Power 125

I get occasional system shutdowns (e.g. July1, June28, June24, June23 twice within 6 minutes) which seem to be logged by a Kernal Power 41 event. They are always preceded by a Kernal Power 125 (see below). It would seem to indicate that something is overheating but this only happens when the system is idle. I never get a shutdown while I am using the computer. When I leave the system for several hours and it is powered on, there are times when I come back to wake it up and then upon moving the mouse it goes to the BIOS boot screen and then boots normally. Works fine. It is W11 Pro, 23H2, 22631.3737

Below is the Kernal Power 125 event. I do not have any minidumps but I have tried to enable them. Suggestions appreciated.

  4. Kernal Power 41 problem

    kernal power 41

    Hi Pete,

The Kernel event ID 41 error occurs when the computer is shut down, or it restarts unexpectedly.
When a computer that is running Windows starts, a check is performed to determine whether the computer was shut down cleanly. If the computer shut down cleanly, a Kernel Power Event 41 message is generated.

An event 41 is used to report that something unexpected happened that prevented Windows from shutting down correctly.

Meanwhile, we suggest that you perform these steps and see if it helps:

Method 1: Perform System File Checker (SFC) scan.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan
for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

    Method 2: Clean boot.

A clean boot is performed to start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This will
help to eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program.

    Let us know the result.
