Microstutter in Halo: Event 2: Session "dc3a3596-71e1-45a3-b2ea-39ad5322fe51" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000022

I have been experiencing microstuttering in Halo for a while as well as what I suspect to be latency issues. Sometimes it feels like people put shots on me before I can even see them, in spite of me having a really high end PC getting hundreds of FPS on a 240hz display... I've also noticed that the longer I play sometimes it gets worse. My PC is a prebuilt but I have since upgraded the CPU, GPU, RAM, and PSU. I'll include my specs at the bottom of the post.

A couple days ago I did a clean re-install of Windows 11, not transferring over any of my files or programs. The first thing I did upon booting into Windows was run DDU to remove any traces of the AMD drivers that came with my PC (my current GPU is Nvidia). After that I downloaded all the latest chipset drivers, wireless, LAN, bluetooth, and GPU drivers, and installed them, restarting my PC in between installations. I then set my power plan to ultimate performance, and in Nvidia control panel I have it set to prefer performance globally. Also, I have no programs set to run at startup. I've trimmed down my PC as much as possible.

When playing my game, I get an Event 2 every five minutes:

Session "dc3a3596-71e1-45a3-b2ea-39ad5322fe51" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000022

Upon googling, it happens to people playing games with Easy Anti-Cheat, which Halo does have.

I read that maybe it could be a driver problem and to download LatencyMon as well as DPC checker to see what my latency looks like. LatencyMon says:

"Your system seems to be having difficulty handling real-time audio and other tasks. You may experience drop outs, clicks or pops due to buffer underruns. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup."

    Here are screenshots of LatencyMon:

Earlier, the first couple times I ran LatencyMon, my latency was higher, going up to 4000 ɥs intermittently. The culprits appeared to be Wd01000.sys and nvlddmkm.sys, with dxgkrnl.sys spiking occasionally too.

I have tried using Driver Booster to update all my drivers, over a dozen were listed as out of date. The problem is I'm not even sure the items in Event Viewer have anything to do with what LatencyMon is showing me. I'm not sure if any of these has to do with the performance of my game.

I read in another forum to use Windows Performance Analyzer to figure out what driver is acting up. I have it downloaded but I am absolutely clueless on how to use it.

    My PC:

    ASRock B450m/ac mobo

    GSkill 32gb 3600mhz ram

    AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

    Asus Tuf 3070ti

    Thanks for any help.

Edit: So I plugged in a second monitor so I could run LatencyMon while gaming and the spikes in latency are accompanied by stuttering in-game.

Edit: I've been running LatencyMon while gaming and I've gotten multiple DPC spikes from stopport.sys and one from classpnp.sys

    I'm at a loss.

  3. System crashes and other problems after bios update and CPU change.

None of them found anything, all successful.

If i update as you mentioned will i stay on win10 or it'll force win11 on me? Because i don't wish to go win11 without knowing if it will fix the issue.

Also i am getting these errors when a game crashes (Not the whole system):

Session "dc3a3596-71e1-45a3-b2ea-39ad5322fe51" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000022 - Kernel-EventTracing

So do you believe all of these issues:

    Windows crash

    Game crash

Being asked for a security usb stick randomly when i have no such thing

    Related to the same thing?
