Windows 10: Kernel root trap error on laptop shutdown

Hi there,

I have been having kernel root trap error when I am shutting down my laptop after updating to Windows 10 version 1903.

It indicated that fltmgr.sys has failed but the error would not occur if I press shut down from the lock screen after it reboots automatically.

I have searched online for a few solutions but none of them has worked. I did not make any hardware changes prior to updating my Windows 10 to version 1903, and by downgrading it to the previous version, I was able to shut down successfully.

Here is my laptop specs and model for reference:

CPU: i5-7200U

RAM: 8GB

GPU: Radeon R7 M360

Model: Lenovo Ideapad 510S
