    Kernel Security Check Blue Screen while starting watchdogs legion


    Hi so i recently downloaded watchdogs legion and the game gives a blue screen and crashes every time i try to launch it. It gives a kernel security check failure and restarts the computer. This is the only game it has crashed on as i tried playing battlefield 5 and theres no issue there. Ive tried to do sfc scannow command but it says it didnt find anything out of the ordinary. Ive tried multiple solutions i found online but none of them worked.

    Kernel Security Check Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error randomly.

    This bug check indicates that the kernel has detected the corruption of a critical data structure.

    Try the steps listed here:

    Method 1:

    I suggest you to unplug all external devices except mouse and keyboard. Now restart the computer to check if this helps.

    Method 2:

    If the issue persists, I suggest you to perform SFC (System File Checker) Scan and check if it helps. SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and replace them.

    a. Click on Start button and type cmd in the
    search box.

    b. Right-click on the “cmd” option and select “Run as Administrator”.

    d. Type “sfc /scannow” without quotes and hit
    Enter.

    Note: Do not close the Command Prompt Window until the verification is 100% complete. The scan results will be shown after this process is finished.
