Windows 10: KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE after waking from sleep mode Windows 10 Version 2004

I have an Dell M4800 laptop and sometimes when it wakes up from sleep I get a blue screen saying that a problem has occured, its collecting necessary information and gives me the error KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE. After it reaches 100% on collecting the info it seems to get stuck doing nothing and I am forced to hold the power button in order to turn the laptop off, then turn it on again.

This error doesnt happen everytime the computer wakes from sleep but it happens often enough to be a problem. At first I thought it only happened when an external USB drive was connected while the laptop was sleeping but now I see that is NOT the case.

Kernel Security Windows 10 when returning from sleep mode

I have a less than one year old computer running Windows 10. Things have been great, but recently I started getting the Kernel Security Check Failure blue screen message.

I googled it and saw all kinds of hits on it. It happens to me after being in sleep mode.

I'm a former MAC user, so not super comfortable with how to troubleshoot this. Any suggestions? Or links to posts that can walk me through the steps??

After upgrading to WIndows 10 i get Kernel security check failure

It happens to me at any time, whithout advise, without signal, etc.

This bug check KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE indicates that the kernel has detected the corruption of a critical data structure.

Method 1:

I suggest you to boot the computer to Safe Mode and check if the issue occurs. If the issue do not occur in Safe Mode, I suggest you to uninstall the game and check if it helps.

Step 1:

To boot to Safe Mode follow these steps:

If the issue do not occur in Safe mode, you may try to uninstall and the
game and check if it works. To uninstall the software follow these steps:

Note: Make sure you have the installation media for
GFW client before uninstalling it.
