    Kernel Security Check Failure BSOD on New Build


    Just built a super budget gaming PC, and I'm having occasional "KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE" blue screen of death errors. Interestingly, it hasn't ever happened while gaming, but seems to happen when things like Chrome and Spotify are running. Only really played The Sims 4 so far.

    PC Components:

    CPU AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor
    Motherboard Gigabyte B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4
    Memory G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16
    Storage Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
    Video Card Zotac GeForce GTX 560 Ti 1 GB
    Case DIYPC F2 MicroATX Mini Tower
    Power Supply Thermaltake Smart 500 W 80+ Certified ATX
    Wireless Network Adapter Asus PCE-AC55BT B1 PCIe x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac

    I ran through the solutions suggested on various articles when you Google the issue, like the Windows built-in system checks, memory checks, etc., but nothing seemed to come up. I used the driver verifier and got caught in a different BSOD restart loop, so I turned that off from safe mode.

    Recieving the BSOD once a day, at least. My drivers are up to date so far as I know and I've tried various methods of troubleshooting including the steps outlined here:

    What does the Kernel Security Check Failure Blue Screen error mean?

    Hoping you guys may have some insight...

    There's a lot of reason for booting in to a BSOD, like problems with the driver for your display adapter or the
    video output is being sent to an unexpected port. KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE error is usually caused by Memory or Driver incompatibility issues or corruption of system data.
    In order for us to efficiently assist you, we just have few questions for you:

    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
