    Kernel Security Check Failure when gaming


    Hi everyone. I get this blue screen when I am gaming and I’m not sure why but I have an idea because I’ve read other posts. I think that my issue could be overheating and if you check my posts on this account you will se why my computer is overheating. I am very bad with building computers and stuff like that so I don’t know how you clean the inside of a computer (haven’t cleaned the inside in 4years) Is there any other issue that could cause this blue screen or is it because I’m overheating? Please help me asap Thanks in advance

    BSOD Kernel security check failure

    Recieving the BSOD once a day, at least. My drivers are up to date so far as I know and I've tried various methods of troubleshooting including the steps outlined here:

    BSOD - Kernel Security Check Failure

    Hi Ashton,

    There's a lot of reason for booting in to a BSOD, like problems with the driver for your display adapter or the
    video output is being sent to an unexpected port. KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE error is usually caused by Memory or Driver incompatibility issues or corruption of system data.
    In order for us to efficiently assist you, we just have few questions for you:

    • Were there any changes made to your computer prior to the issue?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
