    Kernel security check failure

    Hi everyone,

So far I've been getting a number of different BSODs most commonly Kernel security check failure. After having read a number of different threads on the matter I have tried the following

Memtest did 10 passes and got 0 errors
updated all of the driver displayed on device manager using windows update (I know for a fact that there is a slightly newer version for my GPU)
    Used ccleaner to repair registry
Also did a clean install of windows 10

not sure what to try next here are the dump files

    :)

    Hi Donald D,

    Welcome to the 10forums.

In the 4 crashes 1 driver has been flagged.
    The nvidia video driver.
Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Nvidia. Be sure the clean install box is checked and only install the Graphics driver and the PhysX driver.

    Hi axe0,

    Thanks for the help.
I did as you said and unfortunately still getting BSODs now and then.
should I add my display driver to windows update exceptions and try a legacy drivers?

Yes and yes, 2 sources are conflicting and causes problems.
Try installing the drivers you already had when creating the thread.

What would the best method for trying out the legacy drivers?
Should I just go from newest to oldest and hope for the best?

Note the drivers you install and yes, from newest to oldest, but do not go too far because of the date.
Put a date limit for the drivers, a lot are not compatible with Windows 10.
For example, if I were you, I wouldn't install drivers that are from before September. From debugging experience these drivers aren't very compatible, however it could be different for you.

So I've tried all of the drivers for windows 10 on Nivdia's website all kept on giving the same error. While on Nvidia's forums a few people stated that version 347.88 was stable which is pre windows 10 I have tried that and got a video_dxgkrnl_fatal_error which is a new one I think but caused by the same problems as far as I can tell , this is still the current driver I am using.

Also bought a cheap Nvidia GPU and took my current one out and tried that, it also BSOD'd with the same error messages.

I'm stumped again on what to try, is there a possibility that it could be a hardware fault?

Are the slots clean of any damage/dust?

Please run the dm log collector again and upload the zip.

If you have cleaned up your system somehow, I ask you to not do it while troubleshooting.
The logs go back 2 days, less then half of the troubleshooting period.

What memory test have you performed in your first post?

CCleaner has been clearing alot of the logs I'll uncheck the option on it sorry...
    The memtest84+

Should I go back to the lastest Nvidia driver...?
