After using my desktop computer all day yesterday, I went to bed, but noticed that my computer kept restarting. So, I checked it, and after using it for a little time to see what was going on, I locked it again using WIN + L and went back to bed, just for it to restart again. I decided to shut it off for the night and look at it again today. This morning, it has been borderline unusable. The frequency of the crashes is so fast I can hardly keep up. Over the past hour of me struggling with it, I have seen "KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION" the most, with a single instance of "IQRL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION BSOD on boot

For the past few weeks, I have been getting a KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION BSOD after Windows 10 boots. It seems to happen when I boot the computer in the morning after being shut down all night. The computer usually boots up successfully and works fine after restarting after the BSOD. One time I got the BSOD again after the computer restarted. When the computer boots successfully, it works fine. The computer is a Lenovo ThinkCentre M93p tower running 64-bit Windows 10 Pro 1909 Build 18363.900. I also got the KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION BSOD the first time I tried to run the log collector program. Didn't happen when I ran the log collector program again. The log collector program failed to compress the folder, so I compressed it myself with 7-zip. The zip is attached. Any help would be appreciated. It's discouraging getting this BSOD every morning.

Did Valorant cause my Kernel Mode Heap Corruption BSOD or is this because of faulty hardware?

The kernel mode heap manager has detected corruption in a heap. KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION is a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error that usually indicates a problem with your computer's memory or drivers. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and fix this error:

    1. Update your drivers: KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION can be caused by outdated or corrupted drivers. To fix this, you can update your drivers by going to the website of your computer manufacturer and downloading the latest drivers for your specific model.
    2. Check for malware: Malware infections can also cause KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION errors. Run a full system scan with your anti-virus software to check for and remove any infections.
    3. Check your RAM: Faulty RAM can also cause KERNEL_MODE_HEAP_CORRUPTION errors. You can run a memory diagnostic tool, such as Windows Memory Diagnostic, to check your RAM for errors.
    4. Check for system file errors: System file errors can also cause this error. You can use the System File Checker (SFC) tool to scan your system files and repair any errors it finds.
    To run the SFC tool:

    • Open the Command Prompt as an administrator.
    • Type "sfc /scannow" and press Enter.
    • Wait for the tool to scan and repair any system file errors.
    1. Perform a clean boot: A clean boot can help identify which program or service is causing the error. To perform a clean boot:
    • Press the Windows key + R, type "msconfig" and press Enter.
    • In the System Configuration window, go to the Services tab and check the "Hide all Microsoft services" box.
    • Click "Disable all" to disable all non-Microsoft services.
    • Go to the Startup tab and click "Open Task Manager."
    • Disable all startup items in the Task Manager.
    • Restart your computer and see if the error persists.
If none of these solutions work, the problem may be more serious and require a more in-depth analysis. You may need to consult a professional technician or contact the customer support of your computer manufacturer.
