Windows 10: KERNELBASE.dll error causes program to CTD

Hi,


Currently I am using a program, flight simulator program P3D v4.5, which works excellent for the first 3 hours of flight. However, when doing a long-haul flight, like London - San Francisco, I get a crash to desktop. I am wondering how this is possible, and therefore I asked the P3D support team, since it is their program and not Microsoft's. They told me to go find a log in a Windows program, where it shows the errors. I did so, and the following came out:

I saw that the fault was located in the KERNELBASE.dll, and although I tried solutions on other questions asked here, like https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...lbasedll/effd2d14-3a80-4962-9aed-3166d41e1b9b it did not work.


My pc specs:

- Intel i7-8750H 2.2-4.1 GHz
- GeForce GTX 1050 4GB GDDR5 VRAM
- 16 GB DDR4 RAM
- 256GB NVMe SSD with 73 GB free disk space

It would be appriciated if someone could help to fix the issue. Thanks in advance.

maybe it has something to do with updates\

Specific programs use DLL files to function properly in a Windows environment. If the DLL file gets misplaced, deleted, or corrupted, the error "____.dll is missing" appears. We'd like to learn more about your concern so that we could provide

• Which build version of Windows 10 is on your computer? To check, click

• Did you make any changes to your computer before this started happening, like installing or uninstalling a program?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

As an initial recommendation, we suggest that you disable your Startup programs to isolate the cause of the error. To do this, follow these steps:

• Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.
• Click More details.
• Go to the Startup tab.
• Right-click every listed program and choose Disable.
• Restart your computer and check if the issue persists.
  
• If the error disappears, enable one of the programs and restart your computer to check if the error reappears; this is to pinpoint exactly which program is causing the error. Do this for all Startup programs until you find the cause.
• Once you've found the program that's causing the error, you can then try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
