Rollback is not an option, there is no point in trying since it has been a year that the application was used game. When installing at first go, also tested now on another system with same version of Windows 10, the game worked fine. Now I get a dual error that so far I have not been able to fix.Tried DISM with several options and followups, SFC finds no errors and trying the fixer for .Net installation found no error that it could fix.Drivers for all installed hardware are up to date. DirectX Diag finds no errors.I am at a loss how to get this fixed short of reinstalling Windows which I st

Error: No work available to process

Hmm. Either it's put out errors and WCG is limiting the work units available, or the project list may not be set to supply other WU when one runs out. (if the problem lies here and not on your end)

On the options to your left, if you go into Results Status, select the computer from Device Name and then look through results see if either they were returned late, errors or any other kind of issue that would stop the servers supplying WU from that perspective.

If there are no errors then it's maybe down to your project list. So selecting Device Manager from the left menu and then clicking on the profile assigned to that computer and make sure that it's assigned to receive WU for other projects if they run out.

At least those steps will rule out problems from the WCG end.

Kernelbase error when starting application which worked fine about a year back...

Error: This application could not be started

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

Applications that are developed for the .NET Framework typically require that a specific version of the .NET Framework be installed on your system. In some cases, you may attempt to run an application without either an installed version or the expected
version of the .NET Framework present. This often produces an error dialog box like the one you are receiving.

I understand that you are receiving an error, ‘This application could not be started’. I’ll certainly help you with the issue.

However, in order get better clarity, please let us know:

    • When exactly are you receiving this error?
    • Are you aware of any changes made to the computer recently?
    • Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer?

I would suggest you to try repairing .NET Framework and check if that helps. Refer the steps mentioned below:

    1. Press Windows Logo key + R, to open
      Run dialog box.
    2. Type control appwiz.cpl,,2 and click on
      OK.
    3. Clear the checkbox for .NET Framework (4.XX), click on
      OK and reboot your computer.
    4. After restart, repeat step 1 & 2, select the checkbox for
.NET Framework (4.XX), click on OK and reboot your computer.

Let us know how it goes.
